The llama community is one big family. We are so excited about owning and living with llamas that we want to share our knowledge and experiences with anyone who is interested (our willing to put up with "another llama story.") We have tried to provide some links that will help round out your "llama knowledge." We do not necessarily endorse or recommend these sites or the information or recommendations presented. We strongly suggest that you always consult a local veterinarian to determine what is best for your animals. Your vet can provide a wealth of information on feeding, sheltering and in general, caring for your llama. Please drop us a line if any of the links on this page do not work properly.

Located at the base of northeast Oregon's Wallowa Mountains,
Hurricane Creek Llamas ranch is home to a herd of over thirty
llamas. Here the breeding focus is on producing vigorous, athletic
and personable llamas suited to packing. Many of the ranch's llamas
spend summers on the trail working for Hurricane Creek Llamas' commercial
llama trekking company. Since 1984 Stanlynn has enjoyed living and working with these unique creatures and she welcomes the opportunity to share her experience with others. On her site you'll find a bit of information and additional resources on llama care, some hints on packing with llamas, details on how you can enjoy a wilderness llama trekking vacation, and information on a selection of llamas for sale.
